Terms of Use

The rules for using the ATC India member portal.

Last updated: 12 October 2026

In short

The members' area is only for AAI Air Traffic Controllers, verified once by AAI email. Guild documents and discussions must not be shared outside the Guild.

Keep your Google account secure — if your Gmail is ever compromised, tell the admin immediately at website.atcguild@gmail.com so it can be unlinked.

1.Accepting these terms

This portal is provided by the Air Traffic Controllers Guild (India). By signing in or using the members' area you agree to these Terms of Use and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the members' area.

2.Who may join

The members' area is only for Air Traffic Controllers of the Airports Authority of India. To join, you sign in with Google and verify your official AAI email id once, using a one-time code the Guild mails to that id. After that you sign in with Google only.

  • One person, one account. Do not create accounts for others or share yours.
  • Do not try to verify an AAI email id that is not yours, or pass your code to anyone.
  • The details in your profile must be true and kept up to date.

3.Keeping your account secure

Your Google account is the key to your access. Use a strong password, turn on Google 2-Step Verification and do not stay signed in on shared computers.

Since your AAI email is verified only once and you then sign in with Gmail, if your Gmail account is ever compromised you must inform the admin immediately at website.atcguild@gmail.com so that Gmail login can be unlinked from this website. The admin can remove access at once and issue a new code so you can re-verify with a new account. You are responsible for activity on your account until you tell us.

4.Confidentiality of guild documents and information

Circulars, documents, files, photos, videos, posts, comments, issues, private concerns, form contents and member details in the members' area are shared for the personal reference of Guild members only. You agree that you will not:

  • share, forward, upload, post or publish them outside the portal — on social media, messaging groups, websites or to the press — without the Guild's written permission;
  • take screenshots or recordings for circulation outside the Guild;
  • download content in bulk, scrape the portal or use automated tools to copy it;
  • remove or obscure the Guild watermark on documents;
  • use another member's personal details (such as mobile number or email) for anything other than guild-related contact.

Personalised, recorded copies. To safeguard the privacy and security of guild documents, every PDF you open or download is a copy made for you: it is stamped with your name, employee number, the date and a reference code, it carries hidden tracing marks, and each open or download is recorded in the Guild's database against your account. Removing, hiding or altering these marks is a breach of these terms. A leaked copy can be traced to the account it came from.

AAI's own rules on official documents and information continue to apply to you. Breaching this section is a serious matter and may lead to removal of access and action under the Guild's Constitution.

5.Acceptable conduct

Keep discussion professional and respectful. Do not post anything that:

  • harasses, threatens, abuses or discriminates against anyone;
  • is defamatory, knowingly false or misleading;
  • could compromise aviation safety or security, or reveals security-sensitive operational information;
  • infringes someone else's copyright or privacy;
  • is commercial advertising or political campaigning (the Guild is politically independent);
  • contains malware or tries to break, probe or overload the portal.

Office bearers and admins may remove content that breaks these rules.

6.What you post

You remain responsible for what you post and keep any rights you have in it. You allow the Guild to store and display it inside the portal for members, and to keep it as part of guild records (for example the action log of an issue or concern).

7.Information on the portal

Documents are provided for reference and may be superseded. Official sources — AAI, DGCA, AIP India and the originating office — always prevail. Live METAR/TAF is for general information only and must not be used for operational purposes; always use the official MET service.

8.Suspension and removal

The Guild may suspend or remove access if these terms are broken, if membership ends, or to protect the portal and its members — for example by unlinking an account that appears compromised. You can ask for your account to be deleted at any time (see the Privacy Policy).

9.Availability and liability

The portal is run by volunteers on a best-effort basis and may sometimes be unavailable. To the extent the law allows, the Guild is not liable for loss arising from use of the portal or reliance on its content.

10.Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; when the change matters, members are asked to accept the new version on their next visit. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at New Delhi have jurisdiction.
